Özet

The 12th INTERPA Conference, held at the National Forensic Sciences University in Gujarat, India, from November 22nd to 23rd, 2023, revolved around the pivotal theme of “Policing at Times of Technological Accidents and Natural Disasters”.

This significant gathering aimed to foster meaningful conversations among representatives from police academies, experts, and academicians. The central focus was on addressing the present and anticipated challenges inherent in modern policing during extraordinary circumstances like accidents and disasters.

With a robust participation of 93 attendees from 31 different countries and ASEANPOL, the conference provided a platform for the exchange of invaluable experiences and insights. Participants actively engaged in discussions covering three key topics linked to the overarching theme:

• Security Issue at Times of Natural Disasters

• Policing in Emergency Response

• Managing Technological Accidents in Critical Infrastructures and Facilities

• Technical presentations from 6 different firms
