Özet

Forensic intelligence is a field that has the articulation of forensic science, criminology, and intelligence at its core. As Olivier Ribaux, the renowned promoter of the field of “forensic intelligence”, has emphasized in his several works, there must be more effort to bring the aforementioned disciplines together in order to reach a strategic level of understanding in criminology or crime scene, specifically. However, crime intelligence and forensic intelligence fields are still among the least-discussed topics in intelligence studies. While vocational and practical knowledge of intelligence in the forensic field grows, the literature and theoretical work on forensic intelligence should show the same performance.
