Dr. Öğr. Üyesi MEHMET LEVENT YILMAZ

Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Levent YILMAZ obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Selcuk University and graduated with honors. He completed his master's degree in strategic management with a TUBITAK scholarship. He received his doctorate with a thesis on the 2013 global financial crisis. Yılmaz started his professional life at Konya Chamber of Commerce and worked as a research assistant at Selçuk University and as a lecturer at Gazi University. During his tenure at Gazi University, he also worked as a consultant at the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). In this period, many of his academic articles were published in national/international journals and his analyses in various newspapers and magazines.

After his doctoral period, he began his academic studies in the field of "National Economic Security." His publication, titled "A New Dimension in the Concept of Security: Economic Security. "HOW SECURE IS TURKEY?" carries the significance of being the first study in the field. In this context, he conducted studies on the importance of the Modern Silk Road and the economic dimension of terrorism.
In 2017, he gave a conference on "Economic Security" at the University of Oxford. His articles were published in a UK magazine called 'The Conservative .' Yılmaz is currently working as a faculty member at the Turkish Police Academy's Institute of Security Sciences and teaches postgraduate courses in "Economic Security" and "Economic Intelligence."
